Your Majesty, Run! The Young Master Is Back to File Another Complaint!

Zhao Hao, a top lawyer in his previous life, transmigrates into the body of a spoiled young master from the Grand Commandant’s residence in the Great Song. Faced with the powerful running rampant through Bianjing and a maze of laws, he decides to fight magic with magic. When he beats up a lecherous royal uncle in the street, he shouts, “According to the Song Code, this is an act of righteous intervention!” At court, he ties the ministers in knots with sophistry, angers the prime minister, and counters an imperial censor’s false accusation with a lawsuit of his own. From the start, he’s at the top of his game. Zhao Hao establishes the Bianjing Hall of Justice to help commoners sue officials and local tyrants. He doesn’t hunt for evidence; he goes after procedural loopholes. When he sues the Salt and Iron Commission for corruption, he demands a “procedural review.” To deal with a prince who has seized farmland, he seizes on the tiniest flaw in the imperial clan’s records. With his signature talent for “legal sophistry,” he manipulates the entire court, from ministers to imperial relatives, and becomes the most infuriating spoiled young master in the Great Song bureaucracy, all by the most “civilized” means!
