Detective Conan: The Not-So-Lonely Gourmet

After dying in the line of duty, Kenji Hagiwara spent four years as an earthbound spirit. Just when he was about to grow mold, he met a food-collecting System that was supposed to be a System but had been forced to take a human job instead. Collect enough recipes and fame, and he can return to the world of the living. Kenji Hagiwara decides to hit the gas first and figure out the rest later. Later on, he does get famous, but why is all his fame in the paranormal field?! Rei Furuya, stop embellishing the stories! And so, one urban legend after another begins to spread: [Customers always have accidents while picking up their orders] "Officer, it's all this cake's fault. It's poisoned!" "The rumors from the past few days are true! There's a shop that commits random murders at midnight!" [The legendary dark cuisine that makes Gin choose instant noodles instead] "Who said this place was any good..." "Hehe, just tell me, isn't this cat the best cat in the world?" [The coffee assassin] "One sip of this super-sized, extra-bitter coffee and you'll be ready to ascend on the spot!" You can even earn the Sleeping Kogoro achievement without a little detective's help. Rei Furuya waves his hands innocently. "I'm just an ordinary part-timer. How would I know anything?" Hagiwara: ...I'm sorry, System-kun. But hey, how is this not making a name for yourself? Hehe. A slice-of-life food story. The CP is tentatively Hagiwara/Matsuda and Rei/Kazami, with more pairings possibly to come.
