A “undead calamity” born in the far north sweeps across the continent, leaving death and decay in the wake of its immortal legions.
The Empire stakes everything on the war, and the Church of Light sacrifices nine out of every ten clerics before the calamity is finally sealed within the “Icecrown Glacier.”
Victory comes at the cost of the Empire’s end.
The imperial throne collapses, the Church declines, and the continent enters the “Age of Shattered Kingdoms,” when countless kingdoms rise.
However, more than 7,000 years later, a massive explosion suddenly erupts in the western sky above the continent of Mu. A strange space gate opens, bringing invaders from another plane.
The Demon Emperor of Hell, his seven Demon Kings, their 108 Demon Stars, and countless infernal troops launch an attack on humanity. The people of Mu are unprepared and are driven east in an instant.
Only after losing three quarters of the continent do humanity’s forces stabilize the front. At last, the terrain gives them a chance to catch their breath.
The infernal armies have also advanced too quickly in the early stages of their invasion, and have not fully secured the lands they occupied. They are forced to halt their advance.
The Golden Age ends, and humanity enters a long era of suffering and struggle. The surviving strong warriors establish professional guilds and a Human Alliance, naming this age the Dark Age.
In the blink of an eye, five thousand years pass…
Looking forward to the follow-up plot
The protagonist's character is too strong and smooth, but you can continue watching and look forward to the follow-up
