Mo Sha: The City Burns in Flames

When the mind of a modern military engineer falls into the body of someone in the Mohist Mechanism City at the end of the Warring States period, a storm of ideas that spans a thousand years erupts. The Qin army is pressing in, and the Mohists are on the brink of destruction. Ge Li, an unexpected visitor with knowledge far ahead of his time, cannot stand by and watch tragedy unfold. He scorns “offensive warfare” as outdated, and audaciously rewrites the rules of war with steel, steam, and gunpowder. He drives back powerful enemies with weapons beyond their era, and is hailed as a savior.

Yet his mighty protection breeds even greater fear. The city he guards becomes the target of all under heaven because it possesses the “power of destruction.” When the allied armies of the feudal lords surround the city, and Duanmu Rong, the physician who upholds “offensive warfare,” is struck down in front of its gates, he finally understands with bitter clarity: the strongest weapons only create the strongest enemies!

How will the former guardian become an embodiment of destruction? Amid the ruins of a city consumed by flames, can he find even a glimmer of redemption?
