A Magical Girl? I'm the One Making Magical Girls Now

Chen Xinyao doesn't want to be a magical girl anymore.

Being a magical girl doesn't pay well, it's exhausting, and it's dangerous. It's not worth it, so she's quitting.

She wants to go home and live an ordinary life.

But something seems off about her family, reunited after so long apart.

“Things have been dangerous on the streets lately. Be careful when you go out,” her big brother, the “Dark Night Armored Demon,” warned everyone sternly.

“Yeah, lots of evil monsters have been causing trouble, and the magical girls are struggling,” agreed her little sister, an “S-Rank Magical Girl.”

“Look at the TV! This is the brand-new Gray 21-X combat mech! With this, those evil fiends and monsters are finished!” her little brother, the “Mecha God Pilot,” shouted excitedly, pointing at the screen.

“Don't worry. No matter what happens, I'll protect this family and keep the monsters from destroying it!” said her father, the “Otherworldly Demon King,” folding his arms with a confident look.

“Oh, it's nothing. You're all worrying too much,” her mother, the “Immortal Witch,” said with a faint smile.

“Dinner's ready! Come and eat!” Chen Xinyao called out.

She was no longer a magical girl.

She was a “Magical Girl Creator.”

Every member of the family was doing their best to protect their home.

(A light ensemble cast, with several interwoven storylines. This is my first attempt at writing an ensemble story, so it takes a while to get going.)
