Great Ming: From the Start, I Urge Zhu Chongba to Rebel

[#Transmigrate #History #PoliticalIntrigue #ZhuYuanzhang #MingDynasty #Wits] Chen Mo, a graduate student in history, wakes up to find himself a penniless scholar on the verge of starving to death at Huangjue Temple near the end of the Yuan dynasty.

Beside him lies a young monk named “Zhu Chongba.”

He knows this unremarkable boy will one day become the iron-fisted Hongwu Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, a suspicious ruler who will purge his meritorious subjects!

To stay alive, Chen Mo draws on his encyclopedic knowledge of The Things About the Ming Dynasty and begins the most dangerous spoiler-filled life in history.

“There’ll be heavy rain in three days, and the temple will collapse!” In return, he gets a bowl of sour porridge that saves his life.

“Outside Haozhou, the Yuan army’s provisions are running low!” In return, he earns enormous credit for a great victory.

“At Poyang Lake, when the southeast wind rises, we can burn the linked ships!” In return, he wins half the empire!

He stands by Zhu Chongba as he rises from beggar to emperor, helping him reach the very pinnacle of power.

But when Zhu Yuanzhang ascends the throne, Chen Mo knows that the executioner's blade of his “brother,” too, will soon hang over his head.

The realm is at peace, and the bow is put away once the birds are gone.

Facing the emperor he helped shape, a man more adept than any in history at killing the dog once the hunt is over, Chen Mo's final memorial is a plan to offer himself the most perfect death…
