Military Marriage: After the Capitalist Heiress Mistakes Her Blind Date

Ye Zhixian transmigrates into the capitalist family’s pampered young lady in a period novel and gets the full package: a mother who died young, a biased father, a cheating fiancé, and a broken heart.

After drinking some tea to calm herself, she promptly kicks her scumbag fiancé to the curb.

Figuring she should get as far away as possible, she happily decides to move to the countryside and become a model young person dedicated to progress.

Her grandmother, the only person who truly cares about her, still wants to help. She asks someone to arrange a match for Ye Zhixian: a permanent employee at a state-run steel mill, from a family with impeccable revolutionary credentials, tall, handsome, honest, and hardworking.

At the assembly hall, Ye Zhixian immediately picks out the tallest, most upright young man in the crowd...

Good news: The matchmaking fails!

Even better news: Moved by her enthusiasm for answering the call, he writes her a letter of introduction and entrusts her to a local women’s official.

Ye Zhixian can’t help thinking, there really are so many good people in the world!

But she never expected to run into her match again after moving to the countryside. The man she’s been looking for, the women’s director, is his mother?

Ye Zhixian is left stunned and deep in thought.
