War of Resistance: Starting with a Squad, I Build an Independent Force

Absolutely worth reading. A new book. Thank you for your support.

After transmigrating into the world of Bright Sword, I took a battered regiment out to build up our forces from the start. Two years later, I returned at the head of an army I had built myself!

While Ding Wei and Kong Jie were still fretting over a few machine guns, and Li Yunlong was congratulating himself on getting his hands on an Italian cannon, Su Hua’s base was already home to a sprawling arsenal and steelworks, with artillery, armored troops, and special forces beginning to take shape. He recruited legendary talents like Shun Liu and Li Daben, and used his advanced tactical ideas and vastly superior equipment to turn the base into an ironclad stronghold that struck fear into every enemy.

In 1937, war broke out again, and the Japanese launched a full-scale invasion. A single order from the Commander-in-Chief brought troops from all directions together. While Li Yunlong, Ding Wei, and the others were still “complaining about being broke,” Su Hua made a stunning entrance with his army of fifty thousand and a light combined-arms division armed to the teeth!

“Reporting to the chief: things are going pretty well. I’ve just got a few too many men, and their equipment is a little too good.”
