Core Principle: The Inner Realm Made Manifest, Obsession as Its Foundation
In this world, power does not come from outside. It is born in the deepest part of every living being’s heart. Cultivators train their own “heartworld,” an inner universe built from a lifetime of experiences, emotions, memories, and obsessions.
Obsession: The cornerstone and starting point of the entire system. It can be any intense emotion, such as love, hatred, protectiveness, the thirst for knowledge, or revenge. The purer and stronger the obsession, the more stable the heartworld and the more powerful its wielder becomes.
Inner Realm: The heartworld itself. It is no illusion, but a genuine inner dimension.
Manifestation: The process of projecting the laws and creations of the Inner Realm into the real world and exerting influence upon it.
The central conflict of this system is that cultivators are both empowered by their obsessions and imprisoned by them. Obsession grants power, but also determines its form and limits, and may even turn against its master in the end.
