The Strange Case Files

Synopsis (An independent horror/mystery story. Read at your own discretion if you're sensitive to this sort of thing.) When I was fifteen, my grandfather told me a story every night. He kept doing it until I turned sixteen. Sometimes, when I had more time, he'd tell me one or two. These stories were strange. They were either ghost stories or mystery cases, and the things that happened in them didn't seem real. The point of view kept shifting, too, switching between third person and first person. The stories had no connection to one another and nothing in common. My grandfather told me to record them carefully and pass them on, because these stories had been handed down since the Ming dynasty. After listening each day, I recorded the stories I'd heard on a computer so they could be preserved for a long time. My grandfather also told me to keep collecting horror and mystery stories from around the world after he died, compile them all into a book, and share with the public the stories known only to our family.
