They Mistook the Dad for a Good-for-Nothing, and the Adorable Kid Shocked the World

[Raising a child, adorable kid, doting dad who adores his daughter, daughter charms her dad into a goofy grin, satisfying story, fresh plot, no rambling or filler]

The good news: I have a three-and-a-half-year-old daughter who's as adorable as an angel.

The bad news: Her imagination becomes reality. Literally.

Scene One: We’re out of snacks.

She only imagines a rain of cookies... and the whole classroom is buried in them.

Me: Apologize to the teacher while picking them up and stuffing them in my pockets. We can’t let them go to waste.

Scene Two: I say fighting monsters is exhausting for Daddy.

She only imagines giving Daddy a kiss... and a smiley-face bandage she made herself instantly heals the cut at the corner of my mouth.

Me: I’m touched, but wearing this thing on my face is so embarrassing!

Scene Three: A relative calls me useless, and she gets mad.

She only imagines “mean Auntie taking a tumble”... and Auntie steps on a watermelon rind that appears out of nowhere, landing flat on her back.

Me: Nice work.

Then one day, she dreams of the “moon” and actually plucks the concept of the moon from the sky to patch a crack in the heavens.

The whole world witnesses a miracle. But does this thing count as an illegal construction?
