Divination 2

Divination 2

When you're standing at a crossroads in life, confused and tangled up in everyday troubles, Divination 2 is your streamlined guide to divination. Drawing on the wisdom of the I Ching and the essence of Plum Blossom Numerology, it turns traditional divination into a method anyone can use. No complicated tools are needed. Have the person seeking an answer give a number off the top of their head, then divide it by 8 and use the remainder to determine the upper trigram. Take the current minute and divide it by 8, using the remainder to determine the lower trigram. Add the two numbers, divide by 6, and use the remainder to determine the moving line. Three steps give you a precise hexagram.

The book does away with obscure jargon, explaining the hexagram and line texts in plain language and using real-life examples from studies, relationships, careers, and more to guide you step by step from casting to interpretation.

It doesn't claim to “foretell a fixed fate.” Instead, it helps you sort out your thoughts and make firm decisions by connecting numbers with time. Even a complete beginner can pick it up with ease. When you're feeling lost, open the book and find guidance in one of the sixty-four hexagrams, beginning a deeper conversation with yourself and the patterns of life.
