Qingluan's Casual Thoughts on Feng Shui

Introduction to Green Hills Feng Shui: Casual Reflections

"The layout of a home shapes the fortunes of its occupants." Within the modest confines of an ordinary home lie key factors that influence a family's fortunes, yet most people are completely unaware of them. As a practical guide to feng shui, Introduction to Green Hills Feng Shui: Casual Reflections confronts the various "inauspicious layouts and harmful positions" lurking in modern homes and reveals the deep connection between one's surroundings and one's fortunes.

The book pinpoints the harmful layouts most likely to be overlooked: a home open from front to back, creating a piercing sha that quietly drains wealth and goodwill; a beam pressing down overhead, an invisible burden that subtly affects physical and mental well-being; and many other hidden hazards, including a bathroom occupying the center of the home, doors directly facing one another, a weakened Azure Dragon position, and missing corners in the house. Each layout can become an "invisible obstacle" to a family's good fortune, with effects far beyond what most people imagine.

Unlike books that deal only in generalities, this one offers remarkably ingenious methods for remedying these problems. From hanging a single ancient coin or placing a plant to adjusting the position of furnishings, each remedy holds the secret to harmonizing the flow of energy. A few simple measures can reverse an unfavorable layout and turn misfortune into good fortune. These methods have been tested in practice, align with the essence of traditional feng shui, and are fully suited to modern homes. They are easy to put into practice and can produce immediate results.

At the heart of the book is the principle that "feng shui is the balance of the Way of Heaven." It reveals the underlying logic behind correcting harmful layouts. Read this book and you will hold the key to attracting good fortune and avoiding misfortune, transforming your home into a place that truly nurtures your family's prosperity.
