Daily Intel: Passengers, Watch My Cues

Night Bus Driver Ke Da Gets a Boost from the Intelligence System

The year is 1573. Housing prices are sky-high, and life is a struggle. Twenty-nine-year-old night bus driver Ke Da is a typical wage slave trapped in a rut: he earns five thousand a month, pays three thousand in rent, and can barely afford a birthday gift for his mother. After stepping in to help someone in danger, he unexpectedly binds himself to the [Daily Intelligence System], and his life takes a turn.

The System doesn’t teach him to cultivate immortality. It just gives him a way to survive: which scratch-off ticket will win tomorrow, which market vendor is cheating with their scales, where a secret new housing policy is about to be introduced... Every piece of intelligence is his most powerful weapon for breaking out of poverty.

With his information advantage, Ke Da begins his comeback: he exposes the shady double contracts of unscrupulous real estate agents and snaps up a school-district apartment at a low price before its value skyrockets. He exploits market price fluctuations to turn the tables on crooked merchants, and accurately predicts policy windfalls to double his assets. When the System grumbles, “Host, pay the electricity bill first,” he smirks and replies, “What’s the hurry? Tomorrow’s intel will be enough to buy a power plant!”

From a poor kid hounded by debt collectors to a behind-the-scenes mastermind who uses intelligence to play the city like a fiddle, Ke Da will show everyone who looked down on him that a nobody can stage a blazing comeback with brains and opportunity!
