After landing in a world that merges three melodramatic novels, Su Nianxi has only six months to live. The only way to extend her life: complete the missions of the three male leads, and never get divorced!
The deranged antagonist Lu Chengyan is possessive and clingy. He helps her bathe and copies her phone, then, after turning dark, threatens, “Lie to me again and I’ll lock you up”;
The comical rich second-generation husband Shen Yan has a sharp tongue but a soft heart. He calls her a “green tea” while preparing financial statements to demand “performance fees” from her lover, and has torn up their divorce papers three times after signing them;
The scheming ex-boyfriend Pei Yan carefully plots at every turn. On the surface, he’s a businessman discussing deals, but behind the scenes he sabotages her divorce from Shen Yan, waiting to swoop in.
Caught in the middle, Su Nianxi keeps all three men happy:
“Honey, you’re the only one I love (not really)!” Then she turns around to peel shrimp for the antagonist and soothe him;
“Chengyan, I’ll get divorced right away (just stalling)!” Then she turns around and plays the victim to her mother-in-law to keep her marriage intact;
“Mr. Pei, this is just a business deal (don’t take it seriously)!” Then she turns around and accepts the resources he offers.
The missions get more outrageous by the day: hold a lavish wedding with a husband who despises her, calm the antagonist after he turns dark, and make a scheming big shot compete for her of his own accord!
Su Nianxi: “Staying alive comes first. What’s wrong with playing all three sides?”
Who knew the three big shots would only get more and more obsessed as they competed:
The deranged antagonist blocks the door: “Either you come with me, or I’ll destroy Shen Yan’s company!”
The comical husband slams the table: “Want a divorce? First, keep playing the part of my useful tool!”
The scheming big shot smiles faintly: “I’ll take care of everything for you, as long as you choose me.”
Looking at the life-span rewards filling the screen, Su Nianxi smiles: “The messier this love triangle gets, the longer I live. Isn’t it great to keep all the male leads wrapped around my finger?”
