The Lazy Princess Consort Is Actually a Max-Level Expert

Li Yu, the undisputed champion of slacking off at his modern-day office job, is electrocuted by a faulty toilet during an epic bout of paid bathroom time and transmigrates to the Dashun Dynasty, a realm much like the Tang Dynasty.

Along with him comes a bizarre Workplace Slacking System: successfully slacking off earns points, which he can exchange for ridiculous skills like an “Aura of Reduced Presence” and “Perfectly Worded Blame-Shifting.”

Li Yu’s ultimate goal is to hold a high position with little responsibility and lie around until the end of time. But the System insists on pushing him into the spotlight. He uses office-slacking tactics to handle court rivalries and bluffs his way through dealings with civil and military officials using his half-baked modern knowledge. Little does he know, every time he “coasts,” everyone else reads it as a display of unfathomable cunning.

The crown prince regards him as a mentor, the princess joins him in a slacking alliance, and even the wily prime minister is left fuming by his “playing dirty.”

In the end, Li Yu, a corporate drone who only wants to clock out, somehow winds up on the throne as the imperial preceptor and begins a hilarious campaign against overwork in the ancient workplace.

“Your Majesty, my slacking points have reached today’s target. I’m clocking out!”
