This CEO Is a Fake

He's Li Ergou, Taohua Village's number-one menace, hated by people and dogs alike. One carefully planned prank that blew up the village secretary's toilet finally earned him the whole village's grand prize: a one-way ticket to the big city.

She's Su Qing, an icy CEO who rules the business world, now overwhelmed by her husband's sudden death and the crises engulfing her company. Then, on the street, she spots a man climbing a tree to pick fruit who looks exactly like her husband. And so, a brilliant stand-in plan is born.

Thus begins a business saga unlike any other. At a board meeting packed with elite executives, his yawns and teary eyes are mistaken for the signs of someone working himself to the bone. In high-stakes negotiations, he uses a slingshot and his knack for reading faces to make his opponents question their sanity. When the company faces ruin, a bowl of herbal tea and a few quilts somehow turn the tide!

As country-bumpkin wisdom turns the rules of the city on their head, Li Ergou turns village life into a business-school textbook. And as he and Su Qing's make-believe romance becomes real, a hilarious adventure of identity, love, and growing up sweeps across the city. This fake CEO seems to be doing the real CEO's entire job!
