College student Su Nianxi returns to her hometown to teach, hoping to fulfill her dream of bringing education to the countryside and use knowledge to help her homeland flourish anew. But outside her classroom deep in the mountains, she meets Chen Yusen, a mysterious forest ranger. He is the mountains’ “silent guardian,” a keeper of the secrets written in ancient trees’ rings and of an age-old legacy said to descend from the Mountain God. When her “spark of education” meets his “pact with the mountains,” their ideals clash, but their souls resonate. In this wilderness, forgotten by time, the plants know when spring comes, and people, too, can find their way home. Together, they set sail on teaching and guardianship, carrying the roots of their homeland toward the places where they each belong.
Well written, I rarely see this type of writing
The character descriptions, details and storyline are all well written. Come on.
