Rebuilding the Great Qin: The First Emperor’s Expedition

Zhao Zheng, a modern history graduate student, is electrocuted while studying Qin bamboo slips and wakes reborn as Ying Zheng, King of Qin, in 247 BCE. At just thirteen, he is already caught in the power struggle between Lü Buwei and Zhao Ji. On the night of his rebirth, he activates the Great Qin Hegemony System. By completing missions such as unifying the six states and expanding the realm, he earns points that he can exchange for extraordinary resources like improved farming tools and advanced military strategies. Pretending to be naive, he secretly watches Lü Buwei's followers, befriends loyal officials such as Meng Ao and Wang Jian, and cultivates trusted allies. In 239 BCE, he uses Lao Ai's rebellion to eliminate his rivals in one stroke, reclaim the powers of the chancellor, and take the reins of government. He then sweeps across the six realms, using the System to obtain innovations such as improved crossbow technology. In just three months, he conquers Han and launches his campaign to unify China.
