Kamado Kotaro was an ordinary boy from Earth who unexpectedly transmigrated into the world of Demon Slayer, becoming Tanjiro’s younger brother. A sudden disaster killed the whole family, leaving only his sister Nezuko, who had turned into a demon, and his brother Tanjiro alive. Like Tanjiro, Kotaro mastered Hinokami Kagura, and he was born with both the Demon Slayer Mark and the Transparent World. With the help of the System, he learned every Breathing Style as a child. During a demon-slaying mission, he heroically saved the Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho, and married her, becoming the Demon Slayer Corps’ tenth Hashira, the Way Hashira. Fighting alongside his brother Tanjiro, they eventually slew the Demon King, Muzan Kibutsuji, and protected humanity’s peace. Demons only come out at night, and they turn to ash when exposed to sunlight.
