A Ghost at the Door? I Got Drunk and Beat Her to a Pulp

The bizarre began to descend, and murder cases erupted everywhere. None of it had anything to do with Mo Fei. At that moment, his life was so miserable that misery itself had come knocking: he’d been dumped, lost his job, and got sued for helping someone up after they fell. There was nothing he could do to change any of it. All he could do was hide miserably in his rented apartment and drink himself senseless, hoping alcohol would help him escape the cruelty of reality. Just then, a female ghost seething with overwhelming resentment knocked on his door, intent on claiming his life. Mo Fei’s eyes were bloodshot from drink, but he began laughing like a madman, staring straight at her. “So you’re a female ghost! It’s bad enough that life bullies me. Now you want to take a shot at me too?” “Fine! Today I’ll show you just how much more resentment a man driven mad by life can have than a ghost!”
