Transmigrate as Shinji: From the Start, Change Chimchar's Fate

When he wakes up, Shinji finds himself in the body of the cold and ruthless trainer Shinji from the Sinnoh region. Looking at the familiar face in the mirror, he immediately recalls the original Shinji's regret at abandoning Chimchar and narrowly losing the League tournament. The Pokemon Training Guide System suddenly activates, and a Pokemon potential panel appears before him. It turns out that the Magnemite by his side has untapped potential!

"Find the injured Chimchar within three days, or Ash will catch it and become your future rival." At the System's warning, Shinji sets out at once. When he finds the little Pokemon under attack by a swarm of Beedrill, he casts aside the original Shinji's coldness and directs Magnemite to unleash a precise electric attack, driving the enemies away. As he sees the panel's prompt, "Hidden Potential: Shiny + Mega Evolution," the moment he gives Chimchar medicine is the moment its fate is changed.

With potential visualization and personalized training plans at his disposal, Shinji remains as aloof as ever, but now he's also protective and precise. He catches a high-potential Electabuzz early and devises a "Speed + Physical Attack" enhancement plan that makes it far stronger than in the original story. When he happens upon an injured Togepi, he treats it without hesitation, quietly establishing his outwardly cold but inwardly attentive image. Then he challenges the Canalave City Gym and crushes Byron in ten minutes, leaving the Gym Leader amazed: "Shinji's training is incredibly efficient."
