Legend of the Green Grain Sword Immortal

[This is an early work, and the pacing is slow. You can start from Chapter 13.]

[Slow burn, female ensemble cast, no romance, traditional classical xianxia, a world derived from Shushan, no male lead, no System, no rivalry between women.]

It was the twelfth year of Daye under the Sui dynasty, beneath Mount Zengai in the Heng Mountains, beside Yuwang Creek.

A young woman named Lin Qinghe lived by washing clothes. She wore simple clothes and a hairpin of thornwood.

In a year of chaos and famine, at the brink of life and death, she happened upon a strange stone in the creek. It drew her into the secret realm of Zhuling Grotto-Heaven.

This realm was a blessed land of immortals. Xuanwei the Wandering Immortal of the Shushan Sect had established the Qingyu Palace here, guarding the earth veins of the Li Fire and suppressing the demonic formation in the Western Regions.

But demonic forces stirred in the shadows. The Blood River Sect’s fiends ran amok, while the Demon Luo Palace coveted the formation’s core, plotting to break the seal and slaughter the Central Plains.

A mortal woman leaves the mundane world and enters an immortal sect. Before her lie the obstacles of cultivation; behind her, demons and fiends lurk on every side.

Watch as Qinghe wields the sword in her hand, tempers herself and clarifies her heart, slays demons and vanquishes fiends, protects all living beings in this world of five turbidities, and cultivates to attain the true Dao.
