Blade of the Flames of War: I Am Li Daben Shi!

Li Zheng, a military enthusiast, wakes up to find he has transmigrated into the world of My Chief and My Regiment. He has become “Li the Great Schemer,” a smooth-talking man with a head full of clever tricks: Li Zheng himself!

The story takes place on the blazing battlefield of western Yunnan. Faced with a Sichuan Army regiment short on food and ammunition and low on morale, while the Takeuchi Regiment closes in step by step, Li Zheng thumps his chest. “Bluffing, I mean, being smart! That’s the most important weapon of all!”

And so, a different kind of legend begins beneath Nantian Gate. Using his knowledge from the future, he “invents” a no-heart cannon, outplays Japanese squads with his tactics, talks his way into “borrowing” equipment from the Yu Division, and even dares to throw an arm around Long Wenzhang and call him brother.

He takes Mijulong on a sentry raid, teaches Meng Fanle how to take people down “elegantly,” talks medicine with Hao the Veterinarian, and gets the cannon fodder regiment roaring with enthusiasm. From the alleys of Chanda to the tree forts of Nantian Gate, he will use his own “knack” to carve a path through this hellish battlefield for this band of cannon fodder and fight his way to a brighter world!

This is the legend of an ordinary man with extraordinary wit. See how Li the Great Schemer, armed with nothing but a silver tongue and a belly full of “dirty tricks,” becomes a legendary master of deception!
