Ye Luoli: A Sideways Glance at Longing

Chen Sisi takes center stage. The main pairing is Pang Zun and Sisi, with Shu Sisi and Ming Sisi as secondary pairings, and possibly a little all-Sisi. I dislike pretty much all the official pairings in Ye Luoli. Don’t bring up pairings that haven’t appeared, since they’re assumed to be broken up.

There is a prequel, set along the timeline of Time Rain. Pang Zun is also pulled into the Kingdom of Childlike Wonder by a strange force. As he is pulled in, a Baoqing Candy falls from an unknown rift in space-time and accidentally merges with his body. As he spends time with Sisi in the Kingdom of Childlike Wonder, the candy seems to deepen his bond with Chen Sisi. (The Baoqing Candy comes from another timeline’s Pang Zun and Sisi. This is basically a continuation of the longer of this story’s two endings, though I’m not sure if it counts as a loop. In the ending, Pang Zun respects Chen Sisi’s wish to live like a human and die of old age. Ending 1: After Chen Sisi dies of old age, Pang Zun searches for her reincarnation. This ending is shorter. The reincarnated Sisi has a better life: she’s no longer the daughter of a wealthy family, but she has parents who are there for her and lots of good friends. And whenever Pang Zun finds her, he and Sisi end up together in every life. Ending 2: Pang Zun can’t accept Chen Sisi’s death, so he turns her into an artificial fairy. This version of Pang Zun is closer to his original characterization: rather domineering and forceful in love, which some readers may not like. Then artificial-fairy Sisi and Pang Zun accidentally fall into an unknown rift in space-time and arrive in another timeline, one where Sisi has not yet met Pang Zun. Artificial-fairy Sisi makes a contract with Pang Zun, so the appearance of the magic will change.) Of course, these are just possible endings I came up with. They may not happen, and if they do, they might only have a loose connection to the main story.
