My Idol, My Sir

I, Shen Zhiyi, have been Zhang Yuan's fan for fifteen years.

From the moment he shone on the Super Boy stage to the day he faded into obscurity, I never left his side.

Now, I'm a wealthy producer's child with top-tier resources at my disposal.

He and his brothers from 0713, meanwhile, have become has-been entertainers the industry seems to have forgotten.

I paid a fortune for ten mu of land and built them the home of their dreams.

An orchard, a swimming pool, a top-tier recording studio... I told them, "Just be yourselves. Leave the rest to me."

As soon as the variety show Home and Family aired, it took the internet by storm for its authenticity, and they made a triumphant comeback!

We became close friends, too, and I always had a VIP seat at their concerts.

Until that livestream: Truth or Dare. The pointer landed on him.

In front of viewers across the internet, he looked into the camera, his gaze gentle and resolute:

"The last time I felt my heart stir was whenever she looked me in the eyes and told me, 'Zhang Yuan, your songs deserve to be heard by the whole world.'"

The livestream chat exploded!

The trending topics crashed, and the haters went wild: "Gold digger!" "He owes it all to his sugar mommy!"

I was about to use my influence to shut it all down, but he stopped me and went into seclusion for seven days.

When he reappeared, his song "A Response" shot straight to the top of the charts, crushing every doubt with sheer talent!

On our wedding night, he brought out a carefully preserved box.

Inside was a yellowed ticket stub from 2007, when I had asked him for his autograph.

His eyes red, he said, "It took me fifteen years to finally stand before you and tell you in person that I didn't let you down."

It turned out that my fifteen-year-long unrequited love had never been a one-way journey.
