Calculating the Cost of My Death from the Start

Lin Mo, a business elite, is pulled into a terrifying game where lives are the stakes: the world of the “Doors.” Here, monsters and rules can both kill. While others struggle in fear, this former analyst calmly assesses risks and calculates returns, reducing life-and-death puzzles to cold numbers.

He clears the most dangerous instances at the lowest possible cost and is branded a madman, until he finds traces of blood left by his younger sister, who vanished three years earlier, in the S-rank instance “Graveyard of Time.” From then on, his calculations are no longer just about survival. They are also about a rescue that crosses the boundary between life and death. As the ultimate truth behind the game comes to light, he must stake everything and calculate a path to godhood if he is to bring back the only family he has left.
