Ultraman: My Master Is Mebius

Ling Chen is the most awkward new Blue Tribe recruit in the Land of Light. He’s so weak that he can barely gather even the most basic beam, and his Red Tribe comrades mock him, saying, “Blue Tribe members should stick to repairing spaceships.” Even the Ultraman instructor advises him to transfer to the Science Bureau. Then one day, Mebius, newly returned from Earth, points at the faintly glowing palm of his hand. “Your ability to analyze light traces lets you see through the weaknesses in darkness.” The moment the legendary warrior takes him as a disciple, the [Master-Disciple Resonance System] and the “Trials of the Myriad Heavens” activate at the same time! “Ding! Entering the Tiga instance: Luluye Ruins. Synchronize your vigilance with Mebius to unlock ‘Light-Trace Prediction’!” “Ding! Shared resolve to protect others has doubled the power of the resonance technique ‘Mebium Light-Trace Slash’!” Others rely on brute force to fight their way through instances. Ling Chen analyzes the energy fluctuations that precede a monster’s movements, predicting and dodging Gatanothor’s shadow tentacles. Others depend on explosive power to deliver finishing blows, but the “Legacy Double Flash” he unleashes alongside his master can even cleave through the dark barrier left behind by Belial! But the Shadow Cult has already set its sights on the pair. They secretly record their resonance data and create puppets in the Leo instance: “Dark Mebius + Dark Ling Chen.” They mock them, saying, “Legacy is nothing but a tool that can be copied.” Ling Chen clenches the Ultraman essence his master handed him and looks at the scar on his shoulder armor, left there by Alien Empera. “True resonance is forged through the pain of fighting side by side!” As Taro’s fiery light traces intertwine with the golden light of master and disciple, the dark puppets crumble beneath the power of three legacies. The System’s alert rings out: “Ultimate bond detected. Light of the Land Legacy Ray unlocked!”
