Signing In at Crime Scenes, I Somehow Obtained the Daoist Heavenly Art

In this age of flourishing technology, ancient evils and uncanny horrors are quietly stirring in the shadowy corners no one knows about. Chen Mo is an ordinary young man burdened with supporting his family. To pay his younger sister's medical bills, he becomes a special kind of crime-scene cleaner, tasked with handling all manner of bloody and bizarre murder scenes. During one job, he accidentally cleans a site tainted by an “anomalous entity” and activates the [Sin Reckoning System]. By clearing away the traces of sin left at a scene, such as bloodstains, resentment, and spiritual remnants, he can extract fragments of the dead's memories, their lifelong skills, and even the innate powers of demons!

[Ding! Cleared traces of bloodshed, extracted “Baji Fist Mastery”!]

[Ding! Purified the remnants of a vengeful spirit, extracted “Daoist Talisman Arts”!]

[Ding! Erased a monster's aura, acquired the talent “Shadow Stealth”!]

From then on, Chen Mo walks the line between the human world and the paranormal. To the public, he's the strongest cleaner around, armed with a broom and disinfectant. In secret, he's a “cleaner” who strikes fear into countless evil spirits, a taboo figure even the official secret organization, the Nightwatch Bureau, regards with wary respect. As his abilities grow stronger, he discovers that an invisible hand may be behind the frequent paranormal incidents, trying to tear open the veil between two worlds and turn the human realm into a living hell. And he may be the key to ending it all.
