Defying Tribulation, Becoming a Demon

I once firmly believed that kindness would be repaid with kindness. Only after the person I loved and my closest friend joined forces to cast me into the abyss did I understand that so-called kindness was nothing but an excuse for the weak to beg for handouts. A mysterious piece of ancient jade and a demonic tome defying the heavens showed me the true rules of this world. If the world treats me with evil, then I will become a demon, using evil as fuel to kindle my Dao flame. I will reshape this world’s justice and order in my own way. But when I had crossed a mountain of corpses and stood above all living beings, I suddenly realized: had I forged salvation with my own hands, or another abyss? This is a story of betrayal, scheming, and corruption, and of how a kind person became the Demon Lord, one step at a time.
