The Prince Doesn't Want to Pretend to Be a Fool Anymore

To escape the deadly court intrigue, Xuan Yuanchen, the Eighth Prince of the Great Qian dynasty, pretended to be a fool from childhood and became the laughingstock of the imperial family. A marriage decree paired him with Su Qingying, the wrongly accused daughter of a military household. What was meant as an insult became a turning point. After their wedding, he revealed his true abilities to his wife, and the two became allies. Using his fool's act as cover, Xuan Yuanchen secretly laid his plans and stirred up the court, gradually wearing down his rivals. He cleared his father-in-law's name and eventually brought down the Crown Prince and the Second Prince, claiming the throne for himself. This is a tale of a rise to the pinnacle, beginning in patient silence.
