The Sun Returns: Sun Ce's Rebirth Poem

[Based on the world of Forgotten River Records] [Sun Ce and Zhou Yu, friendship-focused] During the peaceful years in Forgotten River, an unexpected ripple in time and space sent Sun Bofu, the Little Conqueror of Jiangdong, back to the war-torn age when he rode side by side with his close friend Zhou Gongjin, striving together to build an empire. He returned with all his memories intact. Facing the spirited Zhou Gongjin once more, along with the Jiangdong men who had served them both, Sun Bofu was overwhelmed with emotion. Their brotherly bond and the fiery days they had fought shoulder to shoulder were right before his eyes, yet his knowledge of the future felt like an invisible shackle. He knew the dangers and betrayals that lay along the road to power, as well as the early death awaiting his close friend. His fierce desire to protect Jiangdong and the one who understood him became the central obsession of his rebirth. Subtle changes began to appear in Sun Bofu's words and actions. After great victories, he treasured sharing wine with his soldiers, especially Zhou Gongjin. In the midst of military affairs, he more often discussed the state of the world with Zhou Gongjin, as if eager to pass on everything he had learned and understood in his lifetime. He also planned ahead with greater strategic care, trying to steer Jiangdong clear of the deadly crises he already knew were coming. These changes could not escape Zhou Gongjin, whose keen mind and heart were in tune with his.
