I Practice Psychological Profiling in the World of Detective Conan

After Lin Ke, a psychologist in the modern world, is murdered by a patient, she transmigrates into the world of Detective Conan as Komatsu Nana, a nobody at Teitan High School. She inherits the original owner's identity, but keeps the soul of a criminal profiler and a passion for writing mystery novels. Whenever she writes, she paints on peel-off red nail polish as a ritual to get into the zone. In a world where murders happen one after another, she is naturally aloof and hates trouble. All she wants is to keep her head down and get by, but she can't escape the relentless disasters brought on by Conan's “death magnet” constitution. Shinichi Kudo (Conan) discovers by chance that his classmate is none other than “Mo Tong,” the mystery novelist whose updates he eagerly follows. Her precise analysis of criminal psychology and his logical deductions prove to be a perfect complement. From being forced to work together to solve cases to becoming intellectual confidants, she cracks mysteries by reading microexpressions and profiling behavior, while he strengthens their reasoning with chains of physical evidence. Her red nails are her trademark, and an unspoken signal between them. As Shinichi falls for her through their intellectual connection, and Ran's waiting grows ever more distant from his world, the bond that began with a case is destined to change everyone's fate. After all, the person who understands a detective best is never the angel waiting for him, but the profiler who can see through his soul.
