After the Investiture of the Gods, Nezha causes a disaster when he loses control. The Heavenly Court shatters his divine body and banishes him to the mortal realm. In his spiritual form, the source of the Demon Pill hidden within him, “Karmic Fire,” awakens. As he searches for a way to restore his physical body, he uncovers his true identity as the key to balancing the ancient gods and demons, and meets new allies who move from hatred to understanding. In the end, Nezha stops rejecting either good or evil. He accepts the Karmic Fire, transforms it into a red lotus, and rebuilds his divine body. Challenging the Heavenly Court’s outdated order on behalf of the Three Realms, he blazes a path of his own.
