Iron Hooves Across Yanyun

Synopsis:

During the Shaoxing era of the Southern Song, the shadow of the Jingkang Incident still lingered, while the court, huddled in its corner of the realm, basked in a false peace. Lin Xuance, a low-ranking soldier stationed on the frontier, carried a hidden past. On the neglected northwestern borderlands, he used tactics far ahead of his time and an iron will to resist the ever-approaching Jurchen cavalry. His challenges were not limited to ferocious enemies: he also had to contend with suspicion and obstruction from within the court. Starting as a mere junior officer, Lin Xuance would shatter the illusion of peace step by step, rekindle the fighting spirit of the Han people, and lead his armored cavalry toward the homeland lost for a hundred years: Yanyun.
