Urban Lie Flat Life: My Intelligence Is Making Me Rich at an Insane Rate

Su Zhe just wants to lie flat in peace: coast through work for his base salary, then flop on the couch after hours. But he can't help being a little too "clever."

A colleague drinks until he gets stomach bleeding while trying to land a contract with a client. Su Zhe glances over the terms and casually says, "Change the payment cycle to payment on the spot, and add a supplemental agreement." The client signs right away. His childhood friend loses everything running an online shop. Su Zhe casually scrolls through the backend data and says, "Use a different courier, and print 'A surprise inside' on the packaging." Three days later, orders are pouring in faster than they can handle. Even the shoe repairman at the entrance to his residential complex makes more in a week than he used to in a month after Su Zhe suggests, "Sell shoe-cleaning gadgets too, ten yuan apiece."

While everyone else works themselves to the bone until three in the morning, desperate for a breakthrough, Su Zhe lounges on the sofa eating watermelon, and money keeps flowing into his bank account on its own.

"Seriously, I wasn't even trying..." Su Zhe looks at his balance, now with another zero added, and sighs at his roommate, who's up late revising a proposal. "Isn't making money just a matter of looking at something and knowing what to do?"
