I Win in the Imperial Harem by Cooking

Lin Suyan has spent ten years in the palace. While the other consorts are busy competing for the emperor’s favor, she’s busy developing new recipes. While everyone else is figuring out how to win the emperor’s heart, all she cares about is winning over his stomach... or, rather, the Imperial Kitchen beside it. Her life’s ambition is to be a carefree slacker, retire in peace, and open a little restaurant.

What she doesn’t know is that, in the eyes of a workaholic emperor tired of palace intrigue:

Giving pastries to the bullied Third Prince is a masterful display of imperial authority and kindness.

Using bad-tasting tonics to water the flowers is a bloodless way of defusing a crisis.

Opening a private kitchen to improve her meals is a bold scheme to establish her own power base and cultivate loyal followers.

Hanging a “No Visitors” sign is a sign that she’s plotting a world-shaking conspiracy behind closed doors!
