I Am Song Jiang, and I’ll Never Surrender

The Song dynasty should have been ruled by the Song family. Why should it belong to the Zhao family? I refuse to believe that. I will lead the heroes of Liangshan to defy the heavens, overthrow the Zhao family’s rule, and establish a true Song dynasty. After all, my surname is Song, so it is only right and proper for me to found the Great Song. I will never accept amnesty. I will overthrow the Zhao family’s fake Song and establish a real Great Song under Song Jiang. I will put down internal rebellions and crush the separatist forces across the land, including the treacherous Fang La in the south. I will expand our borders, wipe out the Khitan dogs, and establish a truly unified Great Song, not the Northern and Southern Song of history, which only ceded territory, paid indemnities, and fought among themselves.
