A Sweet Romance Across Time: Prince Rui's Consort and Her Tomato Love Story

She falls from the bustling modern world into a time steeped in ancient charm. She thinks it's only a fleeting dream, but beneath the tomato vines in a greenhouse, she meets the man who carves her wooden hairpins and brews plum wine for her. Prince Rui has no idea what a “tomato” is, yet remembers that she likes two spoonfuls of sugar in her scrambled eggs. He doesn't know what an “elevator” looks like, yet gladly listens as she describes that dazzling, bizarre world. He never asks where she came from. He simply shields her, using his sword to cut through conspiracies and his embrace to shelter her from the wind and frost. Moonlight in the greenhouse witnessed them holding each other close; the fragrance of plum blossoms in Jiangnan soaked into their vows. But the rift between their eras still stood before them. She awoke in a hospital bed in the modern world, while he waited fifty years in the ancient greenhouse, keeping a box of old belongings by his side. Fortunately, the moonlight never lets down those who wait. When a Song-dynasty silver hairpin and a modern pearl meet again in a museum, and fingertips separated by a thousand years finally touch, they understand: some love can pierce through time and cross the boundary between life and death. A single “I came to find you” is worth every word in the world.
