When the great roc rides the wind, it soars ninety thousand miles!
Hong Kong in the 1980s: an era of turmoil and change.
Su Chen, a “Mainland import” who has illegally crossed over from the mainland, is struggling to survive from the start in the chaotic Kowloon Walled City.
Triads are everywhere, robbers run rampant, the law has collapsed, and ordinary people’s lives are worth less than grass.
After witnessing the neighbor girl’s family destroyed by triad oppression, the last trace of hesitation in Su Chen’s heart turns to cold killing intent.
This era needs a new order!
From that day on, a calm, ruthless, far-sighted “river-crossing dragon” begins to stir up a storm in Hong Kong’s underworld.
He recruits Liang Kun, crushes Crow, and manipulates the entire Hung Hing Society as if it were in the palm of his hand.
Using financial knowledge far ahead of its time, he makes his first fortune in the stock market crash and builds his own business empire.
Jiang Tiansheng points at him and roars, “I treated you like a brother, and you turn out to be a cop?!”
Su Chen flicks away his cigarette ash and smiles faintly. “Mr. Jiang, times have changed. Go inside and make the most of your rehabilitation. I’ll take care of things out here.”
He is the nightmare of every triad boss, the godfather of Southeast Asia’s underworld, and a global oligarch who controls the world’s energy lifelines.
As long as you’ve got the guts and the nerve, this is your era! Welcome to my era!
Liangkunpao and Liansheng are gone?
