The Butterfly of Forgetfulness, Fragrant Legacy of Butterfly Valley

Suxin inherits the Forget-Me-Not Butterflies her father bred, which can erase painful memories.

War orphans are torn apart by nightmares night after night, so she sends swarms of butterflies to brush away the bloody scars in their hearts.

Soldiers surround the valley and demand the butterflies: “Hand over the divine butterflies and help our king ease the suffering of his people!”

Suxin burns the work of her entire life. Blue flames illuminate her resolute eyes. “I would rather have no butterflies than become an accomplice to a tyrant!”

The Butterfly Valley is reduced to ashes, yet ten years later, blue butterflies are seen dancing in the air.

> The orphans have become healers and rebuilt their home among the ruins. “Suxin’s butterflies can never be burned away.”
