Ancient Gods Series: Hou Yi Battles Xing Tian

Main plot:

In 2125, the awakening of the “Star Core” causes ancient gods to revive one after another. Hou Yi awakens as the “God of Order,” tasked with protecting human civilization. Xing Tian is reborn as the “Soul of the Rebel God,” seeking to overthrow the old divine order and establish a new world where might makes right. The two fought once in ancient times, but neither emerged victorious. Now, amid modern cities and ruins, they face off in a final battle that will determine humanity’s fate.

Key plot points:

1. Hou Yi awakens in an underground temple beneath the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang. The modern-day “Divine Research Bureau” discovers him and attempts to control him.

2. Xing Tian breaks free from his seal beneath Sanxingdui, leading the “Rebel God Army” with his headless body and igniting a revolution against divine rule.

3. In ancient times, the two clashed over their opposing views on the “throne of the Celestial Emperor” and “humanity’s fate.” Now, their fated conflict reignites.

4. The battle spreads from the cities to Kunlun Void, Penglai Island, and the divine realm at the Earth’s core, culminating in a showdown at the “Star Core.”

5. The battle does not end in a simple victory or defeat. Instead, it ushers in the “Age of Fallen Gods” and gives humanity the chance to evolve on its own.
