NBA: Me, Chicken Bro, the God of the Three-Point Line

“Hey, Cai, go mop up that damn floor!” In the Los Angeles Lakers locker room, superstar LeBron James pointed at the puddle on the ground and ordered me around. For three years, I, Cai Kun, nicknamed “Brother Chicken,” was the lowliest lackey on this powerhouse team. Players barked orders at me, the coach ignored me, and even the fans mocked me as an Oriental kid who could only “sing, dance, and rap.” In the final game of the regular season, the team was hit by a wave of injuries and couldn't fill out the roster. With no other options, the coach pointed at me and said, “You, get out there and fill a spot. Just don't get hurt!” The whole arena erupted. The entire world was waiting to laugh at us! But when I caught the ball beyond the three-point line and it traced a perfect arc before swishing through the net, the entire Staples Center fell silent. One shot, two shots, ten shots… twenty shots! Every time I let it fly, the net rippled like water! “My God! Twenty shots, twenty makes! He's not human, he's the God of Basketball!” the commentator screamed on the spot. “Fuck! Did we sign a lackey or God?” The team manager leapt out of his seat in shock. LeBron James, Curry, Kevin Durant… every superstar who had once looked down on me now stared in stunned silence at the guy they used to call “Brother Blackie.” Starting today, I'll rewrite the rules of the league! I, Cai Kun, will sink threes with a 100% success rate and shoot my way to the throne on this court!
