The Mind-Stealing Corruptor

The Ministry of Magic’s sharpest blade, she uses Legilimency to cleave into Death Eaters’ minds.

Until August Rookwood’s laughter makes a nest inside her head.

The venom of memory seeps into reality: her colleagues in the interrogation room turn into Inferi, and rivers of blood flow through the Ministry corridors.

She flees into the shadows of Knockturn Alley and builds a wall with Occlumency.

But in the darkness, that wall shines like a beacon, a treasure trove of memories to the Dark wizard.

Borg the “Slug” has a potion that can temporarily numb the madness, but the price is fragments of her memories when she loses control.

When the Death Eater remnants pick up her trail, Knockturn Alley becomes a hunting ground.

On a rainy night as the wall crumbles, Yvette whispers into the abyss: “Want the treasure? Then take it all, including what’s hidden in your memories.”
