Bronze City is a living city that resets every 72 hours. In truth, it is a massive device created by an ancient civilization to seal away the “Outer Gods of Chaos.” The city absorbs the time, memories, and emotions of those trapped inside to power the seal. Its five major districts correspond to the Five Elements and keep one another in check:
Industrial District (Metal): Governed by mechanical and temporal laws, it is filled with gears and clockwork devices.
Commercial District (Water): A center of trade and information, governed by rules of exchange and value.
Residential District (Earth): A place to live and find shelter, governed by community and mutual aid.
Forbidden Marsh (Wood): A realm of desire and illusion, governed by trials of the mind and spirit.
Skyborne Isles (Fire): A place of energy and gravitational anomalies, governed by the control of power.
Ancient sacrificial rites are essential to keeping the city running, while the organization known as the “Order Keepers” seeks to control the reset mechanism and unleash the sealed power.
