The Obsessive CEO’s Prey

Deep in the neon-lit financial district, two souls are bound together by fate. Shen Yanci is, on the surface, the CEO of Xingyan Capital, a firm commanding hundreds of billions in assets. Beneath his cool, chaste exterior lies an almost deranged possessiveness toward his “prey.” Ten years ago, he rescued the boy Lin Ye from the ruins of a fire and came to regard him as his one and only “possession,” gently enclosing every step he took in a gilded cage.

Lin Ye was once the son of a fallen military family. The fire took everything from him and turned him into Shen Yanci’s “caged bird.” He seems docile and patient, but an untamed glint hides in his eyes. While playing the “good boy” Shen Yanci expects, he secretly gathers evidence about the truth behind the fire. Gradually, he discovers that the disaster that destroyed his life is inextricably linked to the obsessive, seemingly unhinged man by his side.
