Sugar's Warm Sunshine in the Palm of My Hand

The story of Su Jingtang, the real young master of the Su family who was switched at birth and finally returned to his family after two years of inhuman treatment.

Su Jingtang has been frail since childhood, suffering from congenital heart disease and a severe stomach condition. Covered in scars, he's sensitive and timid, yet possesses a stubborn resilience. After being brought home, he gradually leaves the shadows behind under the devoted care of his parents and seven older brothers. Lu Shinian, heir to the Lu family, has been his most steadfast protector ever since they first met in kindergarten and Lu stood up to bullying on his behalf. From innocent little children to teenagers, from elementary school desk mates to high school classmates, Lu Shinian never takes his eyes off Su Jingtang, sheltering him beneath a clear sky with his quiet tenderness.

The story brings happiness to each of Su Jingtang's seven older brothers, celebrates the irreplaceable bonds between family members, and follows Lu Shinian and Su Jingtang through the long years they spend by each other's side. From “I'll protect you” in kindergarten to hands still clasped when their hair has turned white, the warmth in their palms is a lifetime of sunshine.
