Shameless: Taking Down Frank from the Start

Zhang Yifan woke up one day to discover that he had become the never-mentioned distant Chinese relative of Frank Gallagher in the American TV series Shameless.

He was now in Chicago's chaotic, rundown South Side.

From the start, he had a useless drunk for an “uncle,” six “cousins” who could get him killed, and a dilapidated house buried in debt.

[Ding! Your “Win People Over Through Virtue (Physically) & (Financially)” System has been activated!]

Beat up scumbags, earn dollars! Help the neighbors, earn skills!

Stop Frank from doing something catastrophically stupid, earn a superhuman physique!

He only wanted to earn a few merit points and keep his head down, but somehow ended up as the South Side's “living Lei Feng” (physically sending people to the afterlife) and the Gallagher family's biggest backer.

Fiona: “Yifan, can I borrow some money to pay the bills? The interest... you know what I mean.”

Lip: “Do you still have any of that potion that boosts intelligence? I'll trade you my little brother's first kiss!”

Ian: “Your ‘gaydar’ is even more accurate than mine?”

Carl: “Coach, I want to learn how to curse people out in Chinese!”

Debbie: “About my mechanical engineering assignment... can you ‘make’ a finished model appear?”

Liam: (blinks his big eyes and holds out his baby bottle) “Bro, milk!”

Frank: “I'm proud of you, kid... Now hand over that good liquor and cash you've stashed away, and show some filial piety to your poor old uncle!”

Zhang Yifan: “Get lost, Frank! Give me back my merit points! System, does this old bastard count as a ‘scumbag’? Can I farm him for coins?”

This is a chaotic story about using an unconventional golden finger to “spread positive energy” in the world of Shameless, while also getting the Gallagher family onto the straight and narrow.
