Journey to the West: The Three Pure Ones Bestow Treasures to Shatter Buddhism's Illusions!

[Journey to the West and Primordial Chaos] + [The Great Rise of the Daoist Sect] + [The Destruction of Buddhism] + [Relentless Roasting] The pilgrimage team tossed statues of the Three Pure Ones into a latrine. By a twist of fate, this brought the Three Pure Ones back together! Furious, Tongtian descended to the mortal realm to investigate. He discovered that Li Jun was the one who had escaped the calamity, so he halted the Journey to the West. After the two Buddhist sages compensated him with the diagram of the Immortal-Slaying Formation, he demanded that the Daoist sect get a share of the spoils and set up tribulations. In the Tongtian River, the goldfish demon identified Guanyin on the spot. The people of Chen Village knelt and begged Guanyin to subdue the demon, while Maitreya twisted the truth. One line about serving before the Buddha put an end to everything. At Li Jun's instruction, the Azure Ox took Li Jing's Exquisite Pagoda. Nezha stabbed eighteen holes right through it. The Azure Ox smelted the treasures it had collected, and the Heavenly Court surrounded the Buddhist sect and demanded compensation... Li Jun believed that every path had its reason for existing. Yin cannot exist without yang, nor yang without yin. He only wanted the Daoist sect to prosper and had no intention of destroying Buddhism. That changed when he reached Lion Camel Ridge and witnessed a living hell with his own eyes. There, Li Jun learned the truth about Lion Camel Ridge in the Journey to the West, and was thoroughly corrupted! “You enjoy the incense and offerings of the mortal world, yet unleash tribulation after tribulation upon it. What value does a sect like yours have? Zhiyin spat blood and asked Li Jun why he was so determined to destroy Buddhism. “Karma always comes around. You preach compassion to ignorant beings, yet turn a blind eye to the frozen dead by the roadside! You may not have taken part in many of these things, but they happened because of you!”
