My Memory Black Market

I discovered I could extract my own memories and sell them on an untraceable dark-web black market. The pain of a breakup? Fifty yuan a jin, take it all. The tedium of exam prep? Weigh it by the jin and get it cheap.

Then I accidentally extracted a memory I didn't recognize at all: a dark alley, a bloodstained knife, and a terrified face.

That's when I realized that what I'd been selling was never just memories.

The police came knocking, and the clues pointed to the stretch of “time” I'd lost.

And the black market's next high-priced target was all the memories I had left of my daughter…

This time, I chose to set a trap and hunt down the buyer who had been spying on my life.
